The Council did eventually unfairly dismiss the officer. Fran Donnelly was the HR Manager at Merthyr Council when she (with the Monitoring Officer) covered up her failure to properly deal with a whistle-blower report on a Safeguarding Child Protection incident at Ynysowen Primary School in February 2016.

Is it acceptable to rely on Anecdotal Evidence to dismiss an employee?  After all, Anecdotal Evidence is really based on Hearsay and Rumour.
