Full Council 20th March 2024. Video Stream including debate on Aberfan Community Centre.

Video Stream of Whole Meeting (except for the first 10 minutes)

Unfortunately, there were technical problems with the streaming facilities affecting the first 10 minutes of the recording.

I am, therefore, unable to make my usual comments about the process of how the minutes were approved.

Suffice to say that it was probably done in the same unconstitutional way that it is usually done.

I also experienced similar problems accessing the beginning of the meeting online via the Teams link. So, I did not see the approval of the minutes from there either 🤔

The Council’s Constitution does not require a resolution to enter the minutes into the record.

The approved minutes are the record.

The Council’s Constitution stipulates that minutes of committee meetings be presented for approval to the next (suitable, i.e., not a special meeting or an extraordinary) meeting of the committee.
