Local Democracy Campaigner fighting for the Senior Officers of Merthyr Council, the Chair of Governors and the Head Teacher of Ynysowen Primary School to be made accountable for the cover-up of their failures to follow Safeguarding and Child Protection procedures from February 2016. Also, for the Monitoring Officer to be made accountable for acceding to the demands to sack a Senior HR Officer made by a Cabal of 5 Heads of Primary Schools from the Southern Cluster led by Simone Roden, Head of Ynysowen. Also, for ensuring that the Council complies with the Constitution and the practice of good governance at all times.
Mel Jehu did it the right way when he was Chair of RCT Council’s Standards Committee.
Mel Jehu does it the right way as Chair of the Standards Committee at Merthyr Council, even though it is a different way to the way the Monitoring Officer would like it done.
Funny thing is, the Monitoring Officer, who attends meetings of the Standards Committee, does not make any attempt to point out that the Chair is not doing it her way.
