Local Democracy Campaigner fighting for the Senior Officers of Merthyr Council, the Chair of Governors and the Head Teacher of Ynysowen Primary School to be made accountable for the cover-up of their failures to follow Safeguarding and Child Protection procedures from February 2016. Also, for the Monitoring Officer to be made accountable for acceding to the demands to sack a Senior HR Officer made by a Cabal of 5 Heads of Primary Schools from the Southern Cluster led by Simone Roden, Head of Ynysowen. Also, for ensuring that the Council complies with the Constitution and the practice of good governance at all times.
In accordance with the Council’s Constitution a citizen can put a question to the Council.
The citizen does not have to attend the meeting.
The question I would ask is for the Cabinet member with the portfolio for Governance and Resources, Councillor Andrew Barry.
“When will the Full Council consider the Audit Wales Report on the Review of Whistleblowing Arrangements relating to Safeguarding at the Council.
The Report was published in August 2019“.
